The Ghana senior national football team, the Black Stars, will gather in Accra to kick-off preparations for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. The camp opens on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium, marking the start of an intensive build-up ahead of crucial games against Chad and Mali.
Players are expected to arrive between Sunday, August 31, and Monday, September 1, as per the Ghana Football Association’s official schedule. The first training session on September 1 will welcome both the media and public, offering fans a rare glimpse into the team’s early preparations. A private session will follow the next day before the squad departs for N’Djamena on Tuesday evening.

In N’Djamena, the team will hold their final training before the match on Wednesday, September 3. They will then face Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on Thursday, September 4.
After the away match, the Black Stars will return home on Friday, September 5. That day, they will run a recovery session at the Accra Sports Stadium, again open to both fans and the media.
A closed training follows on Saturday, September 6, while the final tune-up on Sunday, September 7 will begin with abbreviated media access lasting 15 minutes.
The campaign’s next highlight is the home fixture against Mali, scheduled for Monday, September 8, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
